When to Use
Important for vegetarians dining out. Note that "vegetarian" in China may still include egg and dairy. For vegan, say 我是纯素 (wǒ shì chún sù).
Examples
我吃素，有素菜吗？(I'm vegetarian, do you have vegetable dishes?)
这个里面有肉吗？我吃素。(Does this have meat? I'm vegetarian.)
